Need A Speaker?
I have spoken to numerous business groups across the USA, Canada and even in Europe. Here are the key things you might want to know before reaching out about your event.
STYLE: My style is casual and interactive, so I prefer to provide though-provoking seminars (people take notes or even ask questions) rather than keynotes. However, my approach still works with fairly large audiences.
WHAT: Since my expertise and writings are in the field of relaunching and marketing brands, that is generally what I am asked about. Here are my three most requested presentations:
WHERE & WHEN: I was once a frequent speaker "on the circuit" but I am now more selective about on-site appearances simply because I'm increasingly focused on writing books and traveling for leisure. However, I still enjoy the opportunity to provide a distinctive and memorable experience for ambitious people.
WHO: You can contact ME directly about your event and aspirations (see the form below). I don't like to use booking agents! I handle most of my own communications, although you may also be working with one of my personal assistants on some parts of our dialog.
WHY: If you have an audience of ambitious entrepreneurs, then I will provide a memorable presentation everyone will be talking about. I don't give "canned" speeches. Although I use core elements, each presentation is adjusted for the event's focus and the people in the audience. This is one of the reasons I like to arrive well in advance. I like to meet the people I may be speaking with and make appropriate adjustments.
PRICING: I don't do this for my living so I have the luxury of accepting invitations that interest me. For that reason, my fees are very reasonable. I'm not greedy, but if my talk enhances your event, then you should pay me for that service, right? I will not speak for free unless there is a very compelling reason. If you have a special sponsor or host, I will certainly break bread with them if they would like to do so. Let's talk.
